I called and left my info for an interest list This seemed pretty preliminary and I don't feel like they are too close What they did say was that if and when they open poker it will not be electronic tables like before but a full poker room So we can hope Last edited by Rapini; at Victoria Casino is a joke. To me they are not a legit casino if they don't have a poker room. I remember playing in their poker room years ago and I would come with non-poker players who would gamble the tables.
I would sometimes play the tables too. That business is now lost because they do not have the good sense to operate a poker room. Too moronic to diversify. Now their market research consists of taking names at the door. I went in there a couple weeks ago asking about a poker room and the floor man straight up laughed.
Not disrespectfully, but because of how often people are asking them about it For what it's worth, I emailed the General Manager of the casino this morning to ask for an update on this and this was his reply. Anybody know what this is about? I assume it's some horrible electronic table game I'm guessing there's no update. I'll be in Victoria at the end of the month. Well, there's some news: Victoria is going to get a second casino. Quality and variety of food has gone down hill. Casino floor is too crowded to move around easily.
Downstairs is worse than upstairs. The smoking area is pitiful. The main lobby is huge, airy and actually quite nice to look at with nice light fixtures. Sadly the casino boat is unlike the lobby. Slots here feel cramped together and, aisles are extra tight to walk through.
The feeling inside the casino is cluttered. The staff working the player club in the lobby seemed disinterested and would prefer you did not bother them even with nobody else in line. The casino has a mix of older digital and manual reel slots but only maybe a dozen penny slots. Most machines were quarters, dollars followed by 2 cent, 5 cent machines.
Not enough variety of new machines compared to other casinos in the state. Sadly the slots also do not payout. Many slots don't even pay back your initial bet when hitting multiple symbol. So really you are constanlty losing regardless. The tables seemed overcrowded and not worth the trouble. Own or manage this property?
