Little Richard we're just an old school club with old school ideas. We opened our doors and held our first meeting in October of Our purpose is simple: Big events and small, long rides and short, weekend trips or a few folks meeting for breakfast or lunch, we hope to offer it all during the course of each year.
Our Club is a little different from most of the groups out there. We sponsor annual events to support charities in our community. If you're not from the area then I will tell you that the Lube is an Icon in the area and is a very Biker friendly place. Very large bike nights weekly. For us, it is all about the great rides, the local attractions, and having a comfortable place to rest at night and great friends to share it with.
We have ridden a lot of miles and camped for years. When we saw this area, we fell in love with the beauty of the river and the region.
We have stayed at all types of places from hostels to hotels, and camped in rain and shine. When we landed in central Pennsylvania, we knew we wanted to share this beautiful place with other motorcyclists and sportsmen. And we wanted a place you could ride to on your motorcycle without packing like the Beverly Hillbillies. That's why we offer full service facilities. You can rough it if you want but we have full bed and bath amenities. And all our full accomodations come with thick towels and deluxe bedding.
If you'd rather haul your own RV whether that's a tent, a pop-up or a motor home - we have a spot for you. We are close to the Pennsylvania Grand Canyon - a lovely ride any day but particularly lovely in the fall when the leaves change. And if your'e like us, a Fall Foliage ride on a crisp, sunny Fall day is a day in heaven! Sleepy at night, the river wakes early with fishermen and boaters.
So if you want to cast for the "big one," we can rent you a fishin' pole. Whatever you enjoy, this is a great home spot to start your day's adventure. And we wanted to have a place where those memories can be shared with your buddies around an evening campfire. You gotta see the fire in the WOK!
Only 8 miles from I, Steel Steeds is a short ride to the historic district which includes wonderful shops and antiques. We are also right next door to Mindy's Tavern if you want to meet local folks while you toss back a cold one.
If you want to stay and relax, Steel Steeds offers some wonderful amenities - the river for fishing or boating and traditional games like darts and horseshoes. Most nights we have a central campfire. Would you rather tube or canoe?
We can help you out there. We invite you to escape to this wooded retreat on the outskirts of the quaint tourist area of Wellsboro. This log home sits on ten private acres tucked away and hidden in the countryside with the historic downtown square only eight miles away. Our Bed and Breakfast is located on a quiet country road, and we provide off-street parking for your car or motorcycle.
The Red Cardinal is about 25 miles from Gettysburg about a 30 minute scenic ride. It is a perfect place to stay if you are planning on being part of Gettysburg's th Civil War Celebration.
Our beautiful home dates back to the early 's. The land and the dwelling were part of a larger tract belonging to the Craighead family, who settled the area in As you approach our home, you will see a charming house with an inviting front porch and red shutters. When you step inside, you will be greeted with old-fashioned hospitality. A few additions over the years, give the house its personality. Original art work by family and friends covers the walls in every room.
